Expertly designed for a corporate technology chairman, this refined office straddles workplace and hospitality functions, offering places to focus and ideate, socialise and entertain, relax and reset. Embraced as a ‘lifestyle interior,’ the design supports the client’s daily routines, while exceeding the expectations of top-level corporate clientele.

A series of floating and intersecting forms in timber and stone to craft a sculptural work setting. Beside, a refined bar finished in matte stainless steel and Calacatta Viola marble displays the clients’ collection of Japanese whiskies with a gallery-like reverence, accompanied by a fluted banquette lounge that invites clients to unwind and settle in.

A meeting area, once concealed by a bi-fold door, is opened up to provide an uninterrupted space for client engagement. Blackened joinery lends a recessive effect, diminishing the presence of an integrated screen, while drawing focus to curated fine art and decor. Polished micro-cement saturated the bathroom, articulating a Japanese ‘wet-room’ sanctuary for bathing, dressing and meditating.
