Merging great coffee, fresh food and wine, Threefold Eatery fuses French bistro and metropolitan industrialism, presenting an intimate and sincere venue. The interior skilfully reflects the comfort and charm of Threefold Eatery’s Parisian menu, while responding to the grit and grain of its inner-city context.
A continuous servery housing a sales counter, dining table and bar optimises the venue’s narrow footprint and creates a highly efficient working environment for staff. A tactile, lava stone top descends to form a connecting plinth that unifies the servery’s three functions, binding together tile-clad elements and a central, white marble table on bespoke, cast-iron legs.
Behind, burled timber wall panels and black frames create a tactile backdrop, flanked by hand-written, chalk board menus. Sumptuous, leather banquettes with pinched patchwork buttoning line the perimeter, complemented by timber floorboards, industrial lighting and steel-framed dining chairs. At the rear, a full-height wine wall provides much-needed storage for the venue, while reaffirming its transition from café to wine bar.
