Clendon Residence, in leafy Toorak, combines classical proportion into a contemporary family home. Expansive and modern, outside polished concrete render, generous glazing and dark bronze framing give the home a composed street presence. A symmetrical façade sets the formal character; two articulated forms flank the entry and central corridor. On arrival, long sightlines draw through the house to a stone-clad terrace and garden beyond. The home’s vertical emphasis is counterbalanced by deep window reveals, a detail which softens the western sun and conceals the entry to the basement garage below.

Inside, natural stone and warm timber lend a sense of quality and permanence. Finely framed doors, aged metal accents and hand-crafted light fittings bring tailored details through each space. Upstairs, operable glazing opens the rooms to a broad balcony, connecting the living spaces to air, light and landscape. Angular in form, yet open to the garden, Clendon Residence bridges a classical sensibility with contemporary living.
